"Across the Universe"
"... Strawberry fields Forever"
Beatles songs, every day battles, artistic vision, and a romantic story line with a twist; it's two hours and fourteen minutes of drastic scenes of mind-blowing events. What more can I add without explaining the entire story ? "A.T.U" is out of the ordinary in my eyes, but countless people love mirage. And of course, numerous Beatles songs being projected in every scene. Furthermore, where else does one hallucinate about Uncle Sam wanting you. Yes, it's emotional and yes it's self-explanatory to the word "exaggerated", but creative in a mystical sense. "A.T.U" reminds me of "The Sound of Music" theme; it's joyful and alluring at the same time. Honestly, towards the end, I felt drowsy and wanted to sleep. Then again, it was almost 1 a.m. Love the 60's and what it stands for ? Then this is a movie for you.
View this movie and tell me what you think. For now, I'll end this.. Next week, when I have the time, I'll put my entire perspective. I'll wait for more people to see it.
